‘Rakkhosh’ releases in Rome, expands international run

Eid-ul-Fitr release “Rakkhosh” has now entered the international circuit, with the film premiering in Rome, Italy, on April 6.

According to the production house, the film received a positive response from audiences on its opening day.

Director Mehedi Hassan Hridoy said the film has performed well in both multiplexes and single-screen theatres across the country. Building on that momentum, it has now begun reaching international audiences. The team expressed optimism following the response from viewers in Italy.

Preparations are also underway for the film’s release in the United States and Canada. The film will be distributed in these markets by Galaxy Media.

The company’s head, Badruddoza Sagar, said “Rakkhosh” is scheduled to release in the United States on April 17, with screenings to be held in theatres across multiple cities.

Produced by Real Energy Production, the romantic action-thriller stars Siam Ahmed in the lead role, alongside Sushmita Chatterjee. The film is produced by Azim Harun and Shahreen Akter Sumi.
