‘2nd Nayok’: Pritom Hasan portrays unrequited love in new music video
Singer and music producer Pritom Hasan has unveiled the music video for his song “2nd Nayok”. Released yesterday, the video portrays Pritom as a lovesick second lead, longing for the attention of the woman he loves.

The concept and creative direction of the music video were handled by filmmaker Nuhash Humayun, while the lyrics were jointly written by Nuhash and Pritom. Actress Malaika Chowdhury appears as the woman of Pritom’s dreams, with Mir Rabby playing the man constantly by her side. The video was directed by Monzur Anik.
“2nd Nayok” pays tribute to several iconic films, including “Monpura” and Uttam Kumar’s “Deya Neya”, along with references to other popular cinematic moments.
One line in the song captures its emotional conflict: “Ami tomar jibon er second nayok naki villain”. Throughout the video, Pritom appears in different roles, including a CNG driver, a boatman, and a pilot, portraying the heartbreak and longing of a man deeply in love in each setting.
At the end of the music video, fans are given a special announcement teasing a sequel to Pritom’s hit song “Khoka 2.0”, which is set to be released soon.
