Partho-Aisha feature in Pahela Baishakh special song

To celebrate the Bengali New Year, a new song titled “Kothay Jeno” is set to release today (April 12). Composed and arranged by popular musician Bappa Mazumder,  the track is a duet by Bappa and Binti. The lyrics for the song has been penned by Shahan Kabondho.

The music video features popular small-screen duo Partho Sheikh and Aisha Khan as models.

The guitar and rhythm sections were performed by Bappa Mazumder, while the bass guitar was played by John S Munshi. The recording, mixing, and mastering of the track were completed by Syed Amzad Hossain Bappi at the BMG Workstation Studio.

The music video, directed by Raj Islam and produced by White Cloud Pictures,  was shot across traditional locations in Old Dhaka, capturing the city’s nostalgic ambience. The visuals portray themes of memory, emotion, and love.

Speaking about the project, the director said, “‘Kothay Jeno’ is essentially a song about love, emotion, and the subtle nuances of relationships, expressing the softer feelings of the heart in a new way. Set against the festive spirit of Pahela Baishakh, the song is expected to resonate deeply with listeners.”
