Cox’s Bazar SP ABM Masud transferred to Rajshahi

The home minister today transferred ABM Masud Hossain, superintendent of Cox's Bazar Police, to Rajshahi.

The Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard today. 

Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous, elder sister of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan, sought to make SP ABM Masud Hossain an accused in the murder case, but a court later denied her request.

Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, superintendent of Jhenidah police, will replace ABM Masud Hossain, according to the notification.

ABM Masud joined Cox's Bazar as SP on September 18, 2018, reports our Cox's Bazar correspondent.
