Young man found murdered

Police recovered the body of a young man from beside Dinajpur-Rangpur highway under Taraganj upazila of Rangpur yesterday.

The identity of the deceased, aged about 38-year-old, could not be known immediately.

Officer-in-Charge Abdul Latif of Taraganj Police Station said being informed by locals, police recovered the body from Doanipara village in the upazila around 11:00am.

Police sent the body, which bore several injury marks, to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the OC added.
