Teen found dead

Police recovered the body of a teenage boy from a water body at Pachrokhi village in Sadar upazila of the district yesterday morning.

The deceased was identified as Tariqul Islam, 18, son of Amzad Hossain of Reiu village in the upazila.

Locals found the body floating in the Koyar Beel around 8:15am and informed the law enforcers.

The reason behind the death could not be known immediately, said police.
