‘Robber’ killed in ‘gunfight’ with Rajbari cops

An alleged robber was killed in what police claimed to be a gunfight in Sadar upazila of Rajbari last night.

The deceased, whose identity could not be known yet, was a member of an inter-district robbery gang, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports quoting Bodiar Rahman, a sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station.

The law enforcers also seized firearms after the gunfight that took place in Chandni bridge area on Rajbari-Kushtia local highway, the daily reports.
