Lightning kills NGO worker

An NGO worker was killed by lightning at Khajra union under Assasuni upazila of the district on Sunday. The deceased, Maloti Rajbansi, 45, was daughter of Tarapada Rajbansi of Tuardanga village. She was struck by a thunderbolt in the morning while she was standing in her yard, said Asaduzzaman Munshi, officer-in-charge of Assasuni Police Station.
