Lightning kills farmer

A farmer was killed by lightning at Muradpur village in Chouhali upazila of the district on Tuesday. 

The deceased was identified as Elim Mollah, 30, son of Bisha Mollah of the village. 

Locals said a thunderbolt hit Elim when he was working at a cropfield around 3:00pm. He died on the spot.
