Fog disrupts ferry services on two routes

Water transport movement on Shimulia-Kawrakandi and Chandpur-Shariatpur routes in Munshiganj and Chandpur districts remained suspended due to dense fog since early today.

The ferry and launch services that came to a halt around 3:00am on the ferry ghats remain suspended till filing this report around noon, according to our Chandpur correspondent and Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

The suspension of the service caused a huge traffic tailback on either side of the ferry terminals.
