Elephant kills man

A man was killed by an elephant in Bengchari area under Kaptai upazila of the district on Sunday. The victim is Sonadhan Chakma, 37, a resident of the area. When Sonadhan was returning home through the hilly road around 9:00pm, all of a sudden, an elephant attacked him, said Md Sahajahan Ali, range officer of Kaptai forest range. He died on the spot, said Kaptai police.
