CCTV installed at 9 Habiganj PS

Police authorities in the district have installed closed-circuit TV (CCTV) cameras at nine police stations, the office and residence of the Superintendent of Police and the Police Line area, to keep these important areas under round the clock monitoring and check crimes.

The first CCTV was installed at the office of the officer-in-charge of the Habiganj Police Station. "Now, every police station has installed six to ten CCTVs," said Mashudur Rahman Monir, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Habiganj.
