BSF yet to return cattle trader's body

The body of a Bangladeshi cattle trader, who was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday near Durgapur border in Aditmari upazila, was not returned to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) even after a day of the killing.

Ataur Rahman, camp commander of Durgapur BoP, said replying to a letter protesting the killing, BFS said the body would be handed over to BGB after completion of the autopsy.

Asadul Islam, 32, of Chawratari village, was gunned down by BSF while he was returning home with cattle around 5:00am. BSF later took away the body.
