Bid to rape three-yr-old in Natore

A bid to rape a three-year-old girl was foiled at Patakata village in Naogaon Sadar upazila.

Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said when the victim's mother was cooking at the kitchen on Monday, the kid was playing inside the room.

At one stage, Dulal Hossain, 16, of the village tried to rape the girl but hearing screams, family members rushed to the spot and rescued her. However, Dulal managed to flee the scene. 

Later, a case was filed in this connection, the OC said, adding that they are raiding different areas to arrest the culprit.
