2 ‘PCJSS men’ killed in Rangamati

Two suspected members of Parbattya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (MN Larma) were killed in an attack allegedly by UPDF men in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early today.

On information, police recovered the bodies from Anglachhara village in Bangaltali union in the afternoon, reports a correspondent from Rangamati quoting Abul Kalam, officer-in-charge of Baghaichhari Police Station.   

Suroj Kanti Chakma, president of PCJSS Bhagaichhari unit, identified the deceased as Juddoshomro Chakma, 35, and Nayanjyoti Chakma, 30.

Blaming UPDF for the attack, Suroj Kanti confirmed that the attack took place at their village Anglachara around 3:00am. 

Contacted, UPDF Chief of Baghaichhari unit Jewel Chakma however denied any involvement with the attack and said, "We are in good terms".
