Apex Footwear, a leading manufacturer and retailer of footwear in Bangladesh, reported a 67 percent year-on-year increase in profit for the October–December quarter of 2025, driven by higher revenue growth.

According to price-sensitive information disclosure, the footwear maker posted a profit of Tk 5.35 crore for the quarter.

Its revenue rose 13 percent year on year to Tk 459.24 crore, reflecting a stronger sales performance during the period.

The company said during the second quarter of fiscal year 2025–26, basic earnings per share increased by Tk 1.09 to Tk 2.72 compared with the same period of the previous year.

The improvement in profitability was mainly attributable to higher net sales revenue and an increase in profit before tax.

Shares of the company rose 2.58 percent to Tk 182.80 as of 12:26pm today on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

For July–December 2025, its net operating cash flow per share stood at Tk 91.86, compared with Tk 57.07 in the same period of the previous fiscal year, marking an increase of Tk 34.79.

The rise was primarily due to a 22.21 percent increase in receipts from customers, while payments to suppliers, employees and others rose by 15.82 percent year on year, Apex Footwear said.

According to DSE data as of December 31, 2025, sponsor and directors held 31.32 percent shares of the company, institutional investors 28.41 percent, and the public 40.27 percent, while there was no government or foreign shareholding.

Founded in 1990 as an export-oriented factory, Apex went public in 1993. It launched Gallerie Apex in 1997 and its flagship brands, Apex and Moochie, in 2000.
