DSE inches up, CSE edges down

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the bourse in Bangladesh, inched up 7 point, or 0.12 per cent, to 6,306 at 11:18 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 225 crore.

Of the securities, 111 advanced, 37 declined and 141 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 2 points, or 0.01 per cent, to 18,617.

Of the issues, 34 rose, 31 retreated, and 43 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.1 crore at 11:19 am.
