University teachers and employees have been dropped from the Prottoy pension scheme.

On August 3, 183 faculty members from North South University (NSU) released a statement expressing solidarity with the students, their families, and everyone affected by the unrest and violence that followed the quota reform protests.

626 faculty members across all departments and institutes of BRAC University released a joint statement on August 2 expressing their solidarity with the students, their families, and all those affected by the unrest that followed the quota reform protests. 

In an open letter to their students, several faculty members from BRAC University (BRACU) expressed their solidarity with them after the unrest that unfolded across the country in July following the quota reform protests. 

We believe there can be no future without the success and support of the students.

Bangladeshi student associations in Australia, Canada, and Hungary are organising rallies to show their support for the reform movement.
