Google shuts down Kormo, its job-hunting app in Bangladesh

Google's blue-collar-focused job market for Bangladesh, Indonesia and India, Kormo Jobs, has shut down its operations. According to the Kormo Jobs website, this service has been closed since June 30. No more details were mentioned.  Google launched this job and career development service app in 2018 to help job seekers find jobs according to their qualifications. The android phone-based app allowed jobseekers to open accounts and find jobs of their interest and will enable employers to post job ads on the platform Kormo app was launched in Indonesia in March 2019 and India in August 2020 following its success in Bangladesh.
