Free Fire national final to be held in Dhaka this weekend
Twelve esports teams will compete in Dhaka this weekend for the Free Fire World Series Bangladesh Spring 2026 title, a BDT 60 lakh prize pool and two qualification places at the 2026 Esports World Cup.
The national grand final, organised by Garena, will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara on June 5 and 6. The tournament is one of Bangladesh’s major national competitions for Free Fire, the mobile battle royale game developed and published by Garena.
According to the organisers, more than 100,000 teams took part in the Spring 2026 season through in-game and online qualifying rounds. The competition has now been reduced to 12 finalists, who will play a series of matches across the two-day final.
Teams will be ranked by cumulative points, based on placement and eliminations. The top two sides will qualify for Free Fire at the 2026 Esports World Cup, which is scheduled for July 15-18 and has a listed prize pool of USD 1 million. The official Esports World Cup page lists Bangladesh as one of the qualifying regions, with two clubs advancing through the Free Fire World Series Bangladesh 2026 Spring competition.
The Dhaka final will be open to registered spectators and broadcast live for viewers across the country, the organisers said.
In recent times, competitive gaming in Bangladesh has moved beyond informal online play into structured national tournaments, with live venues, prize money and international qualification routes now forming part of the country’s growing esports scene.
