Uber Bangladesh introduces hybrid subscription for bike drivers

Uber has launched a new hybrid subscription model for its bike drivers in Bangladesh.

According to a press release, the updated system allows drivers to choose from different subscription formats, enabling both full-time and part-time riders to tailor their participation based on their availability and earning preferences. 

Under the hybrid model, drivers can operate with zero commission on trips, allowing them to retain the full fare while paying for access to the platform through a subscription structure, as per the company. The move builds on Uber’s earlier subscription model introduced back in 2023.
