Sophos launches advisory services for cybersecurity

Sophos, a cybersecurity firm, has recently launched a new suite of services called Advisory Services.

According to a press release, the initiative is designed to enhance cybersecurity resilience through a series of advanced testing and assessment offerings. The service suite includes external and internal penetration testing, wireless network testing, and web application security assessments — each designed to simulate real-world attack scenarios and expose vulnerabilities before malicious actors can exploit them.

Findings from the company's State of Ransomware 2025 report reveal that exploited vulnerabilities remain the leading cause of ransomware attacks, with 65 percent of surveyed organisations citing known or unknown security gaps as contributing factors.
