Prominent cultural organisation Chhayanaut is hosting a two-day “Shuddhasangeet Utsab”, dedicated to legendary maestro Ustad Allauddin Khan, starting today and continuing through Saturday.

Against the backdrop of illuminated arches and intricate stonework, the evening unfolded as a rare dialogue between music and memory—where the enduring legacy of Allauddin Khan found new resonance within Dhaka’s most iconic monument.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs, in association with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, will organise a classical music evening on October 8, 2025, at 7 pm at the historic Lalbagh Fort in Old Dhaka.

In 2022, Aashish Khan earned a Grammy nomination in the "Best Traditional World Music Album" category for his album “Golden Strings of the Sarod”. His contribution to Indian classical music resonated globally, and he performed several times in Bangladesh during his illustrious career.
