“Roid”, the latest film by Hawa-famed director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon, is set to be screened at the Seattle International Film Festival in the United States ahead of its domestic release.

Four years after creating a nationwide and international buzz with "Hawa", director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon is set to return with his new full-length feature film "Roid", which has now secured its release window for Eid-ul-Azha.

Although the film debuted with a limited number of screenings, word of mouth spread rapidly; audiences are now captivated not only by the bold storyline but also by Nazifa’s mesmerising performance.

The ‘whistle’ seems to be blowing loud for Raihan Rafi as he gears up to present what could be one of the most experimental films of his career, with “Pressure Cooker”.
