Team Bangladesh at International Mathematical Olympiad 2019

M Ahsan Al Mahir (SOS Hermann Gmeiner College, Dhaka), Ahmed Ittihad Hasib (Dhaka Residential Model College, Mohammadpur, Dhaka), Soumitra Das (Government Rajendra College, Faridpur), Md Maruf Hasan Rubab (Mymensingh Zilla School, Mymensingh), Saadman Hasan (St Joseph Higher Secondary School, Dhaka) and Mashroor Hasan Bhuiyan (Notre Dame College, Dhaka) represented Bangladesh in Bath, United Kingdom, at this year’s International Math Olympiad (IMO). Ahsan bagged the Bronze medal while Soumitra, Ittihad, Maruf and Saadman received honourable mentions at the prize-giving ceremony of the competition.

Car Free Street Dhaka: A great start to the weekend

On the first Friday of every month, a part of Manik Mia Avenue is blocked by Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) to create space for people to run, play, cycle and carry out a range of other activities.
