Price hike in essential commodities market
Most kitchen markets in Dhaka were closed since the day before yesterday due to the post-Eid lockdown. A lot of buyers have stocked up on essentials before Eid. As the markets are starting to reopen after Eid, the prices of vegetables and fish have increased. Many essential products have rotten, forcing traders to increase the prices to recoup their losses.

Rohingyas to sacrifice over 200 cows during Eid
Bhasan Char has taken a festive hue after the arrival of cows for Eid sacrifice. Over 200 cows have been provided for the Eid celebration of the Rohingyas staying there.
