The tale of an expat falling prey to a drug syndicate’s trap

Expat Md Abul Bashar was sentenced to 20 years in jail after he was caught with drugs in Jeddah Airport last March. But his wife Rabeya says that he is innocent and that the drug was placed in his bag by someone claiming to be an airport official. Rabeya went to various government offices demanding justice for her husband. Finally, after six months Bangladesh Consulate General in Saudi Arabia has started taking steps to appeal against the Saudi Court's verdict condemning Md Abul Bashar.
