The case of rampant corruption in the secondary education sector

Corruption seems to run rampant in the secondary education sector of Bangladesh, according to a recent report of Transparency International Bangladesh.

They have found examples of bribing upto Tk 15 lakh for the position of headmaster.

TIB's Executive Director Iftekharuzzaman accuses the lack of proper accountability, monitoring and supervision in the sector for this.
