Technologist disappears with Tk 2.58 crore Covid test fee

Medical technologist Prokash Kumar Das, lab-in-charge of Khulna General Hospital, managed to embezzle Tk 2.58 crores of the Covid testing fees collected at the hospital.

A five-member investigation committee headed by the district civil surgeon has found evidence that he embezzled government funds.
