Spike in Covid infection rate: What are the govt's plans?
The government has ordered people who tested positive for Covid-19 across the country to not travel to the capital. The Directorate General of Health Services has also issued special instructions for passengers from different countries, especially from India.
On average, around 1.5 lakh people test positive for Covid-19 in in India on a daily basis. The numbers of Covid infections have surpassed all records worldwide. And in Bangladesh, the detection rate has increased several folds in the last 10 days, and the infection rate is almost at 7%.
