Snakes in Chattogram village

Residents of South Saroatoli Kanjuri village in Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram have been living in fear of snakes for months.

Locals mentioned that a few people have already been bitten.

To save themselves from snakebite, villagers started to put nets on the windows and carbolic acid around the house.
