Khulna farmers see success in cultivating Indian plums that look like apples

Although they look like apples, they taste completely different. Farmers of Khulna's Dumuria upazila have been cultivating a new variety of plums (kul boroi) that resemble Kashmiri apples -- which is exceeding all their expectations. With its reddish complexion over light yellow or green skin, Kashmiri Apple Kul is larger in shape than other available varieties like Baukul and Thai Kul.
