How canal Sundari lost its charm

The canal, "Sundari", which means 'a beautiful woman', once a vibrant waterway in Tangail, the canal is now devoid of its beauty due to mindless pollution and encroachment. Dumping of waste from the nearby bazaars caused blockage in its natural waterflow. On top of that, the canal shrinked in width in the Karatia Bazaar area because of severe encroachment.
