Govt increases bus fares yet conductors demand more

To ease the protest against increased diesel prices, the government has agreed to raise fare of public buses by 27%. However, on the first day after the public bus services resumed operation, passengers are complaining that bus conductors are demanding even more than the increased prices -- leading to tension and verbal abuse between passengers and the bus staff.
