Dohazari-Cox’s Bazar railway set to open in June 2022

Bangladesh Railway has taken up several projects to bring the entire country under the rail network. As a part of this, construction of about 101km rail lines from Dohazari to Cox's Bazar via Ramu began in 2018.

The construction work is in full swing now despite being hindered by the Covid-19 pandemic. BR authorities expect its construction to be completed by December of the next year.
