Convict exempted from prison sentence on condition of looking after mother

Mehedi Amin Khan was prosecuted for a drug-related case and was sentenced to six years in prison with an additional fine of Tk 10,000. 

The Barishal District and Sessions Judge's Court, however, exempted him from the punishment on the condition that he has to take care of his mother and do other community works.
