Century-old guava cultivation in Pirojpur

Over 125 years ago, Purno Mondal from Bhadranko village of Atgar-Kuriyana union under Nesarabad upazila in Pirojpur, went to Goya, a scared place to the Hindu community, in India for religious purposes.

There, he collected some guava seeds and sowed them in his village home.
