Can 'Family Card' be a solution for the marginalised?

More and more people find themselves struggling, even being unable to afford daily necessities, as the month of Ramadan closes in, and prices soar. In response, the government has decided that 88 lakh low-income families will get cooking oil, sugar, and lentils at subsidised rates - and for that the families would be given "Family Cards."

Will the government be able to implement mass financial aid this time? Is this "family card" a viable option?
