Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) wants to build an industrial park over 214 acres of Shalban in Madhupur. They are claiming one of the last remaining Shalbans of the country to build a Tk 400 crore industrial park. What could be the implications of removing this forest?
