Ekushey Book Fair is a tradition for the Bengali people.

The Ekushey Book Fair has been held every year since independence to preserve the glorious memory of the Language Movement of 1952.

The festival organised on Bangla Academy premises since 1973 has gradually become an integral part of our culture.
