Ahsan group accused of embezzling Tk 17,000cr in the name of religion

Ahsan Group has embezzled Tk 17,000 crore by taking advantage of the religious sentiment of villagers. 

The victims have said that Ragib Ahsan, the chairman of Ahsan Group, assured them of making immense profits if they invested in this particular business without interest. 'Waz Mahfils' were arranged in his support. With these promises, countless people of Pirojpur fell victim to the ploys of Ahsan Group.
