Soumya Sarker departs for 47. He was trapped in front of the wicket. Although umpire ruled him not out South Africa reviewed the decision and won it. His departure spark a collapse with Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah falling in quick sucession.

Soumya Sarker finally gets his rhythm back after a long lay off. The left hander races to 28 off 12 balls as Bangladesh reach 43-1 in 4 overs for the loss of Imrul kayes.

Bangladesh start their chase for 195 to win the first T20I against South Africa.

Miller and Beharding plunder 62 runs in the last five overs as South Africa post a massive 195-4 in their share of 20 overs. It could have been even bigger had not young pace bowler Saifuddin Ahmed bowled beatifully in the last over that produced 9 runs. Behandin  hit two fours and as many sixes in his 17-ball undefeated knock.  Mehedi was most economical among the Bangladesh bowlers with 4-0-31-2.

Pace bowler Rubel Hossain gets the reward of bowling at good line. He gets Quinton de Kock with a leg stump Yourker. The kept things tight in the 15th over that produced three runs including a harsh wide.

Quinton de Kock survives a close run-out call before hitting a missive six over mid-wicket for an unbeaten 36-ball 53. In an eventful over bowled by Shakib, JP Duminy was caught in the deep for 13.

Off-spinner Mehedi Hasan strikes early but South Africa start briskly in the first T20I at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein.

Mehedi dismissed Hashim Amla for three in the second over. He shared the new ball will captain Shakib Al Hasan. But Quinton de Kock and AB de Villiers exploit the first six Powerplay overs to great effect. The home side raced to 65-1 in six overs.

Earlier, South Africa win the toss and decide to bat in the first Twenty20 international against Bangladesh at Mangaung Oval.

The home side included a new cap in all-rounder Robbie Frylinck. Bangladesh on the other hand included off-spinner Mehedi Hasan in an attack that featured four pacers.
