Shoriful, Mosaddek in as Bangladesh opt to bat again

Star Sports Report

Bangladesh have won the toss for the second game in succession and decided to bat first, like the first ODI on Sunday, in the second match of the series in Mirpur on Tuesday.

Having won the first match of the three-match series by 33 runs, Bangladesh will be looking to wrap up the series today, weather permitting, while Sri Lanka would be desperate to take the decider to the third game on Friday.

The winners of the first game made two changes to the side, with uncapped pacer Shoriful Islam replacing Taskin Ahmed and Mosaddek Hossain coming in place on Mohammad Mithun.

Sri Lanka, though, have an unchanged XI.

There was heavy rainfall in Dhaka last night, presumably due to the tropical Cyclone Yaas which has formed in the Bay of Bengal, but for the moment the sky is clear. There is rain forecast for the evening, but the match is set to start on time.
