India have given hosts Bangladesh a mammoth 513 target to chase on day three in the first Test in Chittagong on Friday.

The visitors declared their second innings on 258 for two after 61.4 overs during today's final session, riding on two quick centuries from opener Shubman Gill (110) and Cheteshwar Pujara (102 not out), leaving the Tigers with a daunting task to win the series opener.

Seamer Khaled Ahmed and spinner Mehidy Hasan shared the two Indian wickets that fell.

Earlier in the day, having bowled out Bangladesh for 150, the visitors opted not to enforce the follow-on.
