BCB director Ishtiaque Sadeque resigns
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director Ishtiaque Sadeque resigned from his position, having submitted his resignation through email on Saturday.
He did not attend the the board meeting scheduled on the same day.
According to sources, it was learnt that Ishtiaque told his colleagues that his inability to devote sufficient time to his responsibilities, particularly in the game development department made him take the decision.
Ishtiaque earlier elected as a board director from club category during October 6 BCB elections. On the next day, he was made chairman of the BCB’s game development committee.
Ishtiaque is also the chief executive officer of Rangpur Riders, one of the six franchises in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20.
