Bangladesh begin tri-series campaign against Scotland on May 30

Cricket Scotland has recently announced the schedule for a Women’s T20 tri-series involving Bangladesh and the Netherlands, set to begin on May 28 in Edinburgh.

The tournament will kick off with hosts Scotland taking on the Netherlands, while Bangladesh will begin their campaign against Scotland on May 30.

Bangladesh will face the Netherlands on May 31 before taking on Scotland and the Netherlands again on June 2 and June 4 respectively.

All matches will be held at The Grange Club in Edinburgh.

The tri-series will serve as preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in England and Wales during June-July.

Placed in Group A, Bangladesh will open their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on June 14 in Birmingham. They will then face Australia and Pakistan on June 17 and 20 in Leeds and Southampton respectively.

Bangladesh’s group-stage fixtures will conclude against India and South Africa on June 25 and 28 in Manchester and London.
