Al Khair SC win Gulf Exchange Gold Cup Cricket Tournament

Al Khair Sporting Club emerged as champions of the Gulf Exchange Gold Cup Cricket Tournament, organised by the Bangladesh Social Club, as they beat Sahabia XI by three wickets in the final at the Bangladesh School Muscat ground in Oman last Friday.

Marking the golden jubilee of independence of Bangladesh, the T-10 format tournament that saw 16 teams consisting of expatriate Bangladeshis participate started on February 18.

The Bangladesh School Muscat ground turned into a mini Bangladesh during the thrilling final as the Bangladeshi expatriates flocked to the ground to celebrate the occasion. 

Iftakher Ul Hasan Chowdhury, CEO of the Gulf Overseas Exchange, a leading Bangladeshi currency exchange organisation, was present as the chief guest during the final.
