Tushar, Shadman strike tons in first day of BCL fourth round
Tushar Imran and Shadman Islam struck tons in the first day of the fourth round of the Bangladesh Cricket League today.
Veteran Tushar Imran struck his third ton in the BCL after East Zone won the toss and sent South Zone into bat first at Sylhet. South Zone ended the day on 299 for the loss of seven wickets. Tushar Imran fell to Abu Jayed Rahi in the 83rd over after a 221-ball 130.
At end of play on Day 1, Central Zone were placed comfortably on 249 for the loss of three wickets courtesy of a 200-run opening stand between Shadman and Saif Hassan. Shadman fell on 107, after his maiden BCL ton this season while Saif missed out on his ton, falling after an innings of 94 from 243 deliveries.
