Tigers seek new start in Jamaica
With an aim to overcome the Antigua debacle, Bangladesh will be looking to turn things around when the Tigers reach Jamaica Tuesday morning (Bangladesh time) for the second and final Test against West Indies starting from July 12 at Sabina Park.
Bangladesh were thoroughly outclassed in the first Test and went suffered a humiliating innings and 219-run defeat after being bundled out for their lowest Test score of 43 in the first innings courtesy of pacer Kemar Roach's five-wicket haul.
There was talk about how the green pitch in Antigua had undone the Bangladesh batsmen, but West Indies however posted 406 on the same pitch.
But things remained unchanged for Shakib Al Hasan and his troops as Bangladesh were all out for 144 in the second innings to register their lowest Test match aggregate with a combined total of 187 runs to lose the match inside the first session of the third day.
According to Tamim Iqbal there are no excuse for the debacle in Antigua and informed that they are looking forward to return strong in Jamaica.
