Doleshwar chase down Prime Bank’s big total

Prime Doleshwar chased down the 302-run target set by Prime Bank, courtesy of Saif Hassan, Marshall Ayub's knocks while Saad Nasim and Farhad Reza played fiery knocks at the death to ensure a five-wicket victory at Savar today.

Batting first, Al Amin's 99-ball 111 and Sudip Chatterjee's 57 saw Prime Bank post 301 on the board for the loss of eight wickets. Following the exchange, Saif Hassan struck 85 off 102. There were important partnerships throughout the innings. Marshall Ayub (76) contributed in a 115-run partnership with Saif before Saad Nasim struck a stormy 47-ball 64, laced with two fours and five sixes. Farhad Reza struck 35 off just 15 deliveries to see of the chase.

In another match, Mohammedan skipper Raqibul Hasan once again played another unbeaten knock to see his side chase down Khelaghar Samj Kallyan's total of 225 all out. Raqibul remained unbeaten on an 88-ball 84 with eight fours and a six as Mohammedan won their second match on the trot with a four-wicket victory.

At Fatullah, Gazi Group successfully chased down the target of 250 set by BKSP courtesy of Mahedi Hasan's 70 and Touhid Tareq's unbeaten 76.
